Decorating for Christmas

This weekend we got our Christmas tree put up and all our decorations around the house. We didn't put many things out this year b/c of the move, but since we decided to wait to move until after the first of year we actually got some stuff up. Camdyn actually got to spend a little time with Aunt Kiko all by herself before we decorated and when she got back she had a fabulous new princess dress...
She was so super excited when she got back. Silas, on the other hand, did not have such a good day. He woke up on the wrong side of the bed after nap and never recovered!
The only time he was really happy was when daddy was giving him all of his attention. They were bonding over goldfish and an empty Sonic cup!
Now, back to the Christmas tree. Camdyn was so darn excited about getting to help put the actual ornaments on. She was concentrating so hard!
Here she is, proud of her work! She was so excited that she could barely stand still! All of our ornaments are around the bottom and kind of clumped together, but it's too cute to move them!
Today we went to the mall and met some friends and played. The mall is one of Camdyn's favorite places (she's def my girl!) and she was so excited. After playing and eating lunch we went into Old Navy for a little bit. The girls were so excited to play with this plastic dog the whole time.

Happy Thanksgiving!!

We had a great Thanksgiving...so much fun with the family. The day before Thanksgiving I decided to bake cookies with both of the kids and that was an adventure!
Silas thought it was so fun to try and stir the dough. Most of the dough that he touched ended up in his mouth though! I guess that's the fun of making cookies for the first time!
After the cookies were made I let them sit in the living room and watch a cartoon while they ate them. They loved it and Silas even watched for a little while!
Debi had covered the dining room table with paper so the kids could color and they loved it! Camdyn loved being able to "color ON the table."
Silas even had fun coloring on the table...he's such a big boy!
Ghetto Silas...I took his clothes off to eat lunch and as we were cleaning up Matt decided to put his vest back on...it was pretty funny! Silas thought he was pretty hot stuff!
Family Picture for Thanksgiving. Not a bad pic of all 4 of us...at least 3! The kids were laughing at Papa sneeze like Donald Duck, they think it's hilarious! We hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving and got to enjoy some time with family and friends!

Bathtime

Bathtime is a much anticipated even at our house. You mention the word bath and Silas is continuously saying it until you put him in the water. I love that they can take them together now and they play so fun together.
Silas is usually splashing and splashing through the entire bath. By the time we are done I am soaked if I don't cover up with a towel.
Camdyn usually spends her time having a tea party with Silas (at least trying) or playing with her princesses.
They play so well together (for the most part) and the older Silas gets the better it gets!

Birthday's Galore

We have had so many birthdays to celebrate in the last few weeks around here...it's a darn good thing we enjoy them so much! This week we got to celebrate to very special ones. First the kids and I traveled to Lawton to celebrate Ireland's 5th birthday. I can't hardly believe she is 5, what a big girl!
Getting ready for the tea party. All three girls got dolled up and loved every minute of it!
Blowing out her FIVE candles! SO CUTE! We even got to play outside without jackets on while we were there. All there kids had a blast! Silas would have had more fun, but he got a horrible cold while we were there and was just not happy! Outside made it a little better. The girls running in the yard...they would run back and forth from fence to fence. They were tired by the time they were done. Camdyn and Chloe in their matching outfits. They love each other so much. They play together great and wouldn't even look at the camera long enough to get a good pic. They were too busy talking and giggling! We had another birthday to celebrate today...Mya turned 1 yesterday and her party was today. It was so cute and very girly! It was a great party...I won't add anymore pics of that right now b/c I wanna let her mommy do that on their blog! Silas (looks like a 3 yr old in this pic) was enjoying Mya's new princess chair. He was kicked back and just watching the party go on around him...love that boy!

Back in Action

We got out computer fixed, again. I think this time should be for good and should hopefully last until we get a new computer all together. This is gonna be short, but we are headed to OK tomorrow morning to visit my sister, so we'll have lots of pics from that. We'll be back to blogging shortly. Today was Grandma Marilyn's 80th bday party. We got to see lots of family and take lots of pictures. Here are a few for your enjoyment!
Sorry for the closed eyes and talking people in this one, but it's all I had! :o) Since we've been back from WDW we haven't really done too much. Silas went through a growth spurt (we think) and was totally out of whack for a while. We had his 15 month appt. on Thursday and he has grown 3 inches in 3 months. He is 33 1/2 inches and 27.5 lbs. He's definitely a growing boy and we love it!
Camdyn has been loving being home and playing with all of her toys. She pretends to be in WDW a lot and brings me her book to sign like I am a character. It's too funny. She is so darn excited to go visit Chloe and Ireland that she can hardly contain herself. She is really growing up and likes such "girly" things and not "baby" things. It's so fun to watch her develop!
**WE will hopefully be moving in the next 3 or 4 weeks...but that's a long story and I feel like keeping this blog happy! So just pray that all of it works out the way it is supposed to!**
